Jessy Mendiola regards her husband Luis Manzano’s candidacy as God’s plan, saying she’s proud of him for helping in making a change.
The actress penned an open letter to the TV host, declaring her support as he runs for Batangas vice governor in the 2025 midterm elections, as per her Instagram page on Thursday, Oct. 3.
“This wasn’t part of our plan but God had other plans for us,” she began.
“Kahit noon pa man, palagi mong iniisip kapakanan ng ibang tao.”
Mendiola noted that she and Manzano’s co-workers can attest to his generosity and eagerness to help without anything in return.
Marami kaming nakasuporta sayo, Love.”
“I am extremely proud of you for choosing this path, the path to help make a change and extend help to others. You are made for this,” she told Manzano.
Manzano, in response, thanked Mendiola for her presence and support in his political journey via the comments section.
Manzano earlier filed his certificate of candidacy (COC) alongside his mother Vilma Santos and half-brother Ryan Recto, who are respectively vying for Batangas governor and Batangas 6th district representative posts.
