Gwen Apuli of P-pop girl group BINI delighted her fans with an early Halloween treat as she took on a latest makeup challenge, turning into Pennywise, the infamous clown from the 2017 horror movie “It.”
Apuli took to TikTok to share a video of her proving that she has a talent for visual arts as she began to paint her whole face as Pennywise while lipsyncing to the clown’s famous lines and embodying the creepy facial expressions.
“Advance happy Halloween? [clown emoji],” wrote the singer in her caption.
As of writing, Apuli’s makeup transformation gathered 6.7 million views and 1.3 million likes.
The BINI member shared on X (formerly Twitter) that she took around 5 hours to complete the whole makeup transformation.
“2:30pm-7:30pm PAGOD NAKO KAYA GOOD FOR 5 YEARS NA YANNNN!!!!” Apuli replied to a fan’s comment. “Kasama na tiktok video dun guys kase di ako marunong finigure out ko pa pano ko gagawin HAHAHA.”

Apuli also said that the challenge was her comeback to makeup, as she also took on a few makeup transformations in the past.
“Dahil late ako lagi, this time mag-aadvance ako ng Halloween, comeback ko sa makeup,” she wrote in one of her posts.

Fans and fellow celebrities expressed their fascination with Apuli’s talent in the comments section of the singer’s post.
“Ay paka talented talaga,” wrote actress Sharlene San Pedro.

Meanwhile, BINI was recently awarded the Voices of Asia at the “Billboard K Power 100” and was named for Artist of the Year at the 2024 MYX Music Awards.
The girl group is set to stage their grand BINIverse concert in Araneta Coliseum in Nov. 16 to 17.
