Maymay Entrata wowed fans with the release of the English version of her hit song “Amakabogera,” which she regards as a reminder to fans that “your beauty is yours to define.”
The actress-performer announced this through her Instagram page on Thursday, Sept. 26, showing a clip from the song’s official music video.
The full music video was then shared on Entrata’s YouTube channel also on Thursday. The video begins with a black-and-white clip of a glammed up Entrata, with the definition of “Amakabogera” as caption.
“Someone who exudes unmatched brilliance and charisma; a stunner,” it reads.
Entrata then sings the song while removing the hands of those putting more makeup on her face. The actress later smudges her lipstick, eye shadow makeup and eye liner while in the middle of several white mannequins that have words printed on them.
The music video, which has so far garnered more than 50,000 views and over 5,000 likes as of this writing, concludes with Entrata being left with one plain mannequin after smashing the rest.
The original version of “Amakabogera” was released in 2021. Entrata first teased about the track’s English version last Sept. 16.
“The original version is a song that’s so important to me as it talks about self-love, self confidence, embracing our own beauty and flaws,” she said. “We wanted the message to reach an even wider audience with this [English] version.”
Meanwhile, Entrata is also set to dazzle in the fashion scene as she will walk the runway of a fashion brand at the Paris Fashion Week.
