ILLIT — a K-pop girl group consisting of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha — is returning to the music scene with their second mini-album “I’ll Like You” set for an October 21 release.
The female quintet’s EP was announced by Belift Lab in a press statement, seven months after their debut mini-album “Super Real Me.”
“‘I’ll Like You’ tells the story of the ‘self’ that becomes deeply immersed in the moment. ILLIT portrays their candid charm in ‘I’ll Like You’ as they encounter a ‘you’ they wish to get closer to, navigate moments of doubt, and ultimately follow their heart to discover their own answers,” it added.
A glimpse of the girl group’s mini-album was uploaded on HYBE Labels’ YouTube channel on Monday, Sept. 23.
The “brand film” showed the members talking about their respective likes and dislikes, as well as what they thought of each other’s personalities and work ethic. The video then ended with the members running through multiple universes before ending at an enchanted forest.
Formed through the survival show “R U Next,” ILLIT made their debut in March 2024. They were supposed to debut as a six-member unit, but Youngseo departed from the group.
ILLIT is composed of Yunah, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, and Iroha. They are best known for their debut single “Magnetic.”
