Bumper to Bumper Car Show goes global on its 20th year

The Bumper to Bumper (B2B) Car Show marks a major milestone in 2024, celebrating its 20th anniversary with a grand finale at SM Mall of Asia on December 7 and 8. Founded by Jonathan Chio, B2B has transformed from a local car show into an international event, with a presence in the Philippines, Canada, Japan, Australia, and soon the USA.

A Unique Automotive Experience

B2B is more than a car show—it’s a full-blown celebration of car culture. Showcasing all types of vehicles, it has something for every car enthusiast. B2B doesn’t just display cars; it also delivers entertainment, ensuring every attendee has a great time. The famous B2B road caravan, known as the real Philippine loop, adds to the excitement, traveling across 24 cities from Luzon, Visayas and to Mindanao.

Going Global

B2B is expanding its footprint. Canada will host ten events across 9 cities in 2025, including Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara Falls, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Grande Prarie, Vancouver and Calgary. The USA will see its first-ever B2Bcarshow in Las Vegas on May 17, 2025 back to back with Fiesta Extravaganza Las Vegas. In October 2024, B2B will debut in Melbourne and continue in Sydney for the 3rd consecutive year. Japan is also a highlight, with upcoming shows in Shizuoka and Gifu, along with the AUTOUR JAPAN tour—a deep dive into the Japanese car scene from Osaka, Nagoya to Tokyo.

Recognition and Expansion

As the Philippines’ largest outdoor car show, B2B has earned accolades, including Best Modified Car Show in Asia at the Asia Automotive Awards. Its partnership with The Off-Road Show International brings 4×4 and Overlanding communities closer to audiences in the Philippines, Canada, USA, Australia, and Japan, expanding the appeal to both sleek car enthusiasts and off-road fans.

Global Impact

Hiroto Fujii, City Mayor of Minokamo, along with Kusakabe Tatsuya, City Tourism Manager, Masayuki Otsuka, Assistant Manager of the City Civil Engineering Department, and Yamada Norifumi and Te Eric Brian, CEOs of MiaBiz Co. Ltd., are spearheading the collaboration with Bumper to Bumper Car Show. The City of Minokamo plans to showcase its cutting-edge proton cancer therapy and traditional Japanese lifestyles alongside the car show.

B2B’s international growth also fosters tourism, helping local economies while highlighting regional culture and attractions. In Japan, for example, the City of Minokamo plans to showcase its cutting-edge proton cancer therapy and traditional Japanese lifestyles alongside the car show.
