Billy Crawford is in grief as he confirmed the death of his father, Jack Crawford, while apologizing to him for not being around to give his final goodbye.
Crawford mourned his father’s death on his Instagram page on Sunday, Sept. 22. He didn’t disclose the exact date and cause of Jack’s passing in his post.
“I’m sorry, Dad. I wasn’t there to say goodbye, give you a last hug, or tell you how much I love you. You’ll always be in my heart. Thank you for being the greatest dad I could ever have,” he said.
The singer-host expressed how much he’ll miss Jack in his post while referring to the latter as his “main man.”
“May you finally rest and forever be happy in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ. I’ll truly miss you, my main man! Love, your son. Billy Joe Crawford,” he wrote.
Crawford received messages of support from celebrities and content creators in the comments, including Sam Concepcion, Inka Magnaye, Ogie Alcasid, Geneva Cruz, Ryan Bang, Piolo Pascual, Erik Santos, Jhai Ho, Jessy Mendiola, Edgar Allan Guzman, and KC Montero.

The “The Voice Kids” coach is known for being affectionate to Jack and his mother Mayette, despite his parents being based in the US.
In May 2022, Crawford celebrated his 40th birthday with his parents, his wife Coleen Garcia, and his son Amari, with the “Bright Lights” singer sharing that it had always been his dream for Amari to meet Jack.
