Renz Fernandez — son of the late action star Rudy Fernandez and Lorna Tolentino—and Jef Gaitan welcomed their first child, three months after tying the knot in Quezon City.
The couple announced the birth of their baby boy on their Instagram pages, with Fernandez sharing a video of their child wrapped in blankets in what seemed to be a hospital.
The actor didn’t disclose the name of his son and the exact date when his child was born in his post.
Meanwhile, Gaitan uploaded photos of her son on her Instagram Stories. She didn’t mention her son’s name as well.

Fernandez and Gaitan wed at Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar in Quezon City last June, where Tolentino and their loved ones were present in the close-knit ceremony.
Also invited to the event were Sen. Grace Poe, Sen. Lito Lapid and Manny Pacquiao.
It was Tolentino who confirmed to the Philippine Entertainment Portal that the couple was expecting their first child in June.
Like his parents, Fernandez entered showbiz and appeared in several TV shows including the Philippine adaptations of “Descendants of the Sun” and “My Love from the Star,” as well as “FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.”
Gaitan, on the other hand, started her entertainment career in 2009 after joining “Survivor Philippines.”
She was part of the shows “La Luna Sang’gre,” “Mars Ravelo’s Darna,” and “Nag-aapoy na Damdamin,” to name a few.
