WATCH: ‘Black Mirror’ season 7 lead cast revealed
The highly anticipated seventh season of “Black Mirror” has finally revealed its cast lineup, with 19 actors set to grace the dystopian anthology.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, the Emmy-winning science-fiction series took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a cryptic video of computer codes that include the names of the cast members.
Some names shown were those of comedian-actress Awkwafina, “The Crown” star Emma Corrin, “Insecure” actress Issa Rae, “Doctor Who” star Peter Capaldi, seasoned actor Paul Giamatti and Spanish-British actress Patsy Ferran.
Completing the stellar lineup are Harriet Walter, Tracee Ellis Ross, Lewis Gribben, Rashida Jones, Siena Kelly, Rosy McEwen, Chris O’Dowd and Paul G. Raymond.
Season 7 will also see the return of Cristin Milioti, Billy Magnussen, Jimmy Simpson, Milanka Brooks and Osy Ikhile for a follow-up to the Season 4 episode “USS Callister.”

Article continues after this advertisementSet for a 2025 release, the short teaser also included names of possible writers and directors who will be involved in the upcoming six new episodes.
The previous season of “Black Mirror,” which aired in June 2023 after a four-year hiatus, featured five episodes and gathered over 11.3 million views in its first four days in the streaming platform.
Created by Charlie Brooker, “Black Mirror” debuted in 2011 and has received 14 Emmy nominations and won eight, including outstanding TV movie for episodes like “San Junipero” and “USS Callister.”
Previous seasons have featured actors Sarah Snook, Jesse Plemons, Jodie Whittaker, Bryce Dallas Howard, Hayley Atwell and Michaela Coel, among others.
“Black Mirror” explores how the dark side of human nature intersects with the extremes of modern life in the time of advanced technology.
