The upcoming film “Uninvited” is shaping into a spectacle as Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, and Nadine Lustre are confirmed as some of the stars in its ensemble cast.
After resharing photos of the actors and other co-stars, Santos, Muhlach, and Lustre’s casting was confirmed by the film’s production companies Project 8 Projects and Mentorque on Facebook on Thursday, Sept. 19.
Also joining Santos, Muhlach, and Lustre are Tirso Cruz III, Mylene Dizon, Elijah Canlas, Gabby Padilla, RK Bagatsing, Lotlot de Leon, Ketchup Eusebio, Cholo Barretto, Gio Alvarez, and Ron Angeles.

Santos shared a throwback photo of herself and Lustre on her Instagram Story on Friday, Sept. 20. The black and white image showed the actresses on the set of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” episode “Regalo” in 2006.

On its Instagram page on Saturday, Sept. 21, Mentorque also uploaded clips of Santos lying on the couch in what seemed to be a scene from the film.
“Ate Vi, first time makatrabaho ang isang robot. ‘Sa dami na ng napagdaanan kong camera all through out my career this one is different. Kaya lalo ako na-excite! First time to work with a robot — Vilma Santos,’” the post read.
(Ate Vi worked with a robot for the first time. “I’ve been through many experiences in front of the camera throughout my career. But this one is different. This is why I’m excited. First time to work with a robot — Vilma Santos.”)
Dan Villegas will direct the film, while Antoinette Jadaone is tapped as the producer.
Details about the film’s genre, storyline, and premiere date are yet to be announced, as of press time.
