Seventeen will return to the K-pop scene with the release of their 12th mini-album “Spill the Feels” on October 14.

The 13-member group’s comeback was announced by their label, Pledis Entertainment, in a press statement, which is said to continue Seventeen’s “longstanding mission of spreading positivity and hope through their music.”

The group’s new mini-album was first reported by various Korean media outlets following their Lollapalooza Berlin headlining performance earlier this month, which stated that filming the music video is finished.

The first batch of teaser photos was released on Friday, Sept. 13, showing the members’ respective underwater shots. More shots showing S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino posing in a watery background were also uploaded.

A teaser showing the mini-album’s theme was uploaded on Seventeen’s social media platforms on Sunday, Sept. 15. The short clip, set in an eerie subway station, contained a sign spelling out an anagram of the phrase “I Feel Helpless” before changing into the record’s name.

The group also shared a glimpse of their album with a trailer clip on Monday, Sept. 16, which captured the members going through their daily lives, with phrases such as “The real me,” “Where are we,” “Positive vibes only,” and “High expectations,” floating in the background.

“Spill the Feels” comes six months after their greatest hits album “17 is Right Here.” Following the mini-album, Seventeen will embark on their “Right Here” world tour starting October 12, with spots in South Korea, Japan, the U.S., and Asia.

It was previously announced that Jeonghan and Jun won’t take part in the album’s promotional activities due to military enlistment on Sept. 26 and schedules in China, respectively. Despite this, Both members had filmed album-related content and other materials in advance.

Formed by Pledis Entertainment, Seventeen debuted in May 2015 with their first mini-album “17 Carat.” It consists of the members S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, The8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, and Dino.
