Miss World Philippines 2024 Krishnah Gravidez is adding feather to her cap, as she’s set to kick off her music career by signing with record label Universal Records Philippines.

Gravidez announced her new milestone on her Instagram page on Tuesday, Sept. 10, while sharing glimpses of her contract signing ceremony with the record label.

“I’m working late ’cause I’m a… singer? Yes! Officially signed with @universalrecordsph. Hoping to inspire more people through a new platform starting today,” she said.

Aside from the label, the beauty queen thanked the Miss World Philippines organization and its director, Arnold Vegafria, for allowing her to take another step in her career.

”Lahat po ng taong nakasuporta at patuloy naniniwala sa kakayahan ko bilang tao, maraming maraming salamat po! So what’s next for this artist? Abangan,” she added.

Gravidez also reshared a post from the Instagram page of talent management company GLXY Entertainment, which showed her signing a contract with Universal Records.

”A queen has arrived! Miss World Philippines 2024 @krishnahgravidez has officially signed a recording contract with @universalrecordsph,” the post read.

The beauty queen’s recent milestone was praised by her fellow beauty queens Emmanuelle Vera, CJ Opiaza, and Roxie Baeyens in the comments.

Gravidez was crowned Miss World Philippines 2024 last July, representing Baguio. She won the national tilt’s major awards which included Miss Photogenic, Best in Swimsuit, and Best in Evening Gowns.

The Baguio-based stunner will compete for the country’s second Miss World crown on March 2025, after Megan Young in 2013.

Before her Miss World Philippines stint, she was appointed Miss Charm by another national pageant team, Miss Universe Philippines, before withdrawing her spot in June 2024.
