Belle Mariano accomplished another milestone as she graduated from senior high school at Homeschool Global Philippines, a homeschool provider based in Taguig City.
Mariano took to her Instagram page on Saturday, Sept. 14, to share glimpses of her graduation ceremony, where she posed with her mother and teacher, as well as photos of herself wearing the school’s purple toga.
“Before entering the industry, I promised myself and my parents that I’d do my best to live the best of both worlds: pursuing my career and balancing it with school at the same time,” she said in the caption.
The actress-singer shared that she went back to school two years ago, and managed to fit it into her busy schedule, which included sleepless nights and “endless cups of coffee.”
“Two years ago, I decided to continue pursuing my academics once again. I could say it wasn’t an easy journey — all the nights of staying up late, endless cups of coffee, and trying to make it before the deadline. I finally made it,” she wrote.
Several celebrities congratulated Mariano in the comments, among them her onscreen sweetheart, Donny Pangilinan, and his mother, actress Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan.

Mariano finished elementary school at St. Paul College in Pasig City, and finished junior high school at the Divine Angels Montessori of Cainta, Inc. in Rizal.
She recently made headlines after handling an awkward encounter with a fan who said to have special needs in Davao City.
