Amid her marital dispute with actor John Estrada, Priscilla Meirelles marked her birthday with a declaration that she has been reborn.
The beauty queen-turned-actress gave a glimpse of her several birthday celebrations in a series of posts on her Instagram page.
“One year wiser: that’s my wish for myself. Life may throw many challenges at me, but one thing I’m sure of by now is that nothing or no one can knock me down,” she captioned one of her posts.
“There is much more to celebrate. Let the laughter and joy begin. This year has been amazing so far!” she exclaimed. “Time to have fun! Happy ReBirth Day to me!”
Meirelles then showed herself with her cake that had the greeting “Happy Birthday Queen” on it.
“Like the Phoenix rising from its ashes, I am reborn,” she said.
In succeeding posts, Meirelles gave a glimpse of her other intimate parties with different groups of friends and loved ones.
Meirelles and Estrada have been hounded by separation rumors since July. Such rumors arose after Meirelles insinuated that Estrada, who was “looking very divorced,” spent his Boracay trip with a certain Lily Hallman. The former beauty queen also said that she “had enough.”
Estrada then released a statement, saying he and Meirelles “mutually agreed” to take a break. He also denied any romantic involvement with Hallman and said he just met the latter on the island.
Meirelles, however, issued a statement as well in which she clarified that “there was never any mutual agreement regarding [their] separation.”
Meirelles and Estrada share a daughter named Anechka.
