Lana Del Rey denies dating alligator tour guide Jeremy Dufrene

American singer Lana Del Rey debunked rumors that she’s in a relationship with a man named Jeremy Dufrene, an alligator tour guide who was also recently separated from his wife.

Del Rey addressed the rumors under a post of an online outlet, Just N Life, alongside screenshots of tweets from a girl on X (formerly Twitter) claiming to be the man’s daughter.

“No,” the singer-songwriter simply responded and went on to add, “Also, that’s not his daughter on Twitter.”

Despite not dating, Del Rey and the boat captain from Louisiana have known each other since 2019, after the singer took one of Dufrene’s wildlife tours, based on some reports.

The dating rumors between the two began last month after a TikTok user uploaded a short video of the singer walking hand-in-hand with Dufrene at a music festival. The same month, a Reddit user shared a photo of the two eating lunch together in London.

As the rumors circulated online, a girl from X claiming to be Dufrene’s daughter said that finding out her father was dating the “Young and Beautiful” singer on social media was “horrible.”

The girl, who shared that she barely talks to her dad, also alleged that Dufrene messaged their family group chat and asked her how she found out. She also shared that Dufrene’s ex-wife is threatening to sue him.

In a previous interview, Del Rey opened up about her love life—or the lack thereof, affirming that she’s not in love at the moment.

“I’m definitely not in love right now. No,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “Absolutely not in love. Have been, but no.” She added, “It hasn’t crossed my mind in the last five months on the road or here yet. But give it a week. My history, sure, it’s coming for me at some point. Yeah. It would be interesting if it didn’t.”
