Amid his ongoing legal battle against his alleged abusers, Sandro Muhlach went to Cebu where he interacted with the locals, thanking them for including him in their prayers.
Muhlach gave a glimpse of his trip through his Instagram Stories on Monday, Sept. 2, showing the view of the city lights at night and the altar of the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu.
He also showed himself smiling while posing for a photo with candle vendors at Magellan’s Cross. This marked the first time the actor shared a photo of himself since he spoke up on the sexual abuse he suffered.
“Thank you for the prayers po,” he said, adding folded hands emoji.
Muhlach filed a complaint of rape through sexual assault and acts of lasciviousness against GMA independent contractors Jojo Nones and Richard Cruz before the Department of Justice (DOJ) last Aug. 19.
During the Senate hearing investigating sexual abuse in the entertainment industry, Muhlach narrated how he was allegedly molested and taught to use illegal drugs by Nones and Cruz after the GMA Gala last July 20.
Muhlach also earlier filed cyber libel complaints against anonymous netizens who shared “defamatory” posts about the sexual abuse the actor had suffered.
