It was an unforgettable night for the fans of K-pop veterans BigBang, as Taeyang reunited with his bandmates G-Dragon and Daesung in his “The Light Year” concert in Seoul, South Korea.

The second night of the “Shoong!” singer’s concert at the Olympic Hall in Seoul, South Korea on Sunday, Sept. 1, was more special for the singer-songwriter and his fans, as he shared the spotlight with G-Dragon and Daesung for special performances.

Taeyang and G-Dragon set the stage on fire with a special performance of their song “Good Boy,” their first time in several years, as seen on several clips by fans on social media.

The track was released in November 2014 as part of YG Entertainment’s hip-hop projects and topped the music charts in South Korea.

Another unforgettable moment in the show was Daesung joining Taeyang and G-Dragon for a special stage of “We Like 2 Party.” The single was released by the K-pop veterans in June 2015.

Taeyang also surprised fans by bringing Seventeen’s Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi onstage as special guests, where the K-pop sub-unit performed “Fighting.” The four of them also danced to the Seventeen’s hit song “Super.”

Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi are members of Seventeen’s sub-unit group BSS (or BooSeokSoon), a combination of their names.

Unforgettable moment

Taeyang took to his Instagram page to share behind-the-scenes glimpses of his concert, which contained photos of himself interacting with his BigBang bandmates on- and off-stage.

G-Dragon also uploaded photos of himself enjoying his time at his bandmate’s solo show on his Instagram Stories.

Born Dong Young-bae, Taeyang was introduced as the main vocalist and main dancer of BigBang in August 2006. The K-pop boy group originally debuted as a five-piece act but is currently in a trio, following the departure of Seungri in March 2019 and T.O.P in May 2023.

BigBang produced several hits throughout their career including “Fantastic Baby,” “Bae Bae,” “Bang Bang Bang,” “Still Life,” “Haru Haru,” “If You,” and “Loser,” to name a few. Meanwhile, Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Daesung also made a name for themselves as solo artists.
