Korean actor Kim Ji-soo officially becomes Kapuso
After a few GMA TV series acting stints, Korean actor Kim Ji-soo has officially become a Kapuso as he signed a contract with Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
Kim’s contract signing was documented by the talent management company through its Instagram page on Wednesday, Aug. 28.
Also present at the event were Universal Records Philippines Managing Director Kathleen Dy-Go, Sparkle First Vice President Joy Marcelo, and GMA Network Senior Vice President Annette Gozon-Valdes and Senior Vice President for Entertainment Group Lilybeth Rasonable.
“GMA Network and Sparkle says annyeonghaseyo and saranghae to Kim Ji Soo. Kim Ji Soo receives a warm Kapuso welcome at the GMA Network Center today as he signs his contract with Sparkle,” the caption read.

Speaking about working with GMA, Kim said, “I’m deeply honored to share this new milestone in my acting career. Signing with Sparkle GMA, it will open new opportunities and I’m eager to work with GMA.”

Prior to his contract signing, Kim already appeared in the GMA TV series “Black Rider.” He also currently portrays the role of Dr. Kim Young in the GMA drama “Abot Kamay na Pangarap.”
Kim is best known for being part of several hit Korean series including “Scarlet Heart,” “Strong Girl Bong-soon” and “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo.”
