While Fumiya Sankai and Kate Valdez have yet to speak up about the status of their relationship, they piqued the interest of netizens after recently enjoying a trip to Hong Kong Disneyland.
Sankai and Valdez enjoyed their time off the limelight as they bought a stuffed animal and food, went sightseeing, and watched a Little Mermaid show in the Hong Kong-based tourist attraction, as seen on the actress’ Instagram page on Sunday, August 25.
The trip was also a celebration of Valdez’s 24th birthday, which took place last August 21.
“Thank you for making my birthday so magical and for making the kid in me feel so happy @fumi.japan. Also thank you for your wishes and birthday greetings,” she said.
The actress received warm messages from fellow celebrities including Glaiza de Castro, Rodjun Cruz, Maricar de Mesa, and Jason Abalos, as well as internet personality Benedict Cua.
Sankai, who also greeted Valdez in her post, also shared glimpses of their trip to Hong Kong on his Instagram account, saying the actress made his first time in the country “a lot of fun.”
“My first trip to Hong Kong was a lot of fun. Happy Birthday,” he wrote.
Sankai was first known to the public through his YouTube channel FumiShun Base, which was launched in 2015. He joined “Pinoy Big Brother: Otso” as a housemate three years later, where he eventually ended up as the fifth big placer.
Meanwhile, Valdez is best known for her roles in the dramas “Destiny Rose,” “Onanay,” and “Unica Hija.” She is set to appear in “Shining Inheritance” and “Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre.”
