SB19’s dedicated fanbase — known as A’TIN — was declared the winner of Billboard’s Fan Army Face-off for the second consecutive year, winning “by a landslide” after the weeks-long voting battle with fans of various global artists.

A’TIN was named the winner of the music platform at midnight on Friday, August 23, garnering 56.3 percent of the votes and beating Navys of singer-businesswoman Rihanna, which got 43.7 percent in the final round.

“It’s official: @SB19Official’s A’TIN are the winners of #BBFanArmy2024! Congratulations on being crowned the strongest fan army for the second year in a row. Way to go,” Billboard said on X.

The fanbases included in the Fan Army were those of Ariana Grande, Beyonce, ATEEZ, Blackpink, BTS, Twice, NewJeans, Nicki Minaj, Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Seventeen, Tomorrow X Together (TXT), Miley Cyrus, Madonna, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber and Zerobaseone, among many others.

The P-pop powerhouse’s legion of fans is the first fanbase of a Filipino act to reach the milestone for two years in a row.

“For the second year running, SB19 is the victor – winning by a landslide — thanks to the tireless efforts of its fan army A’TIN. The Filipino boy band previously won the 2023 Billboard Fan Army Face-Off. A huge congratulations to them for all their work,” a portion of the music publication’s announcement read.

A’TIN is now tied with Super Junior’s E.L.F which achieved the same feat. Meanwhile, Queens — the fanbase of K-pop girl group T-ARA — was declared the winner three times.

SB19 took to their official X (formerly Twitter) page to express their gratitude to their fans for their victory.

“A’TIN, we did it again! For the second year in a row, we’ve claimed victory in Billboard’s Fan Army Face-Off 2024! Your support proves that PPOP is more than just a genre—it’s a movement. For PPOP. For the country,” they wrote.

Other P-pop artists who celebrated the milestone on social media are Alfea and AJ of G22, as well as host-VJ Ai dela Cruz.

SB19 is set to release a documentary film on Aug. 28 in select theaters, which looks back at their career milestones and hardships during their “Pagtatag!” era.

The “Gento” hitmakers recently earned 12 nominations in the upcoming 37th Awit Awards, including Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year, where they received the most nods.

The P-pop royalty will head to South Korea on Aug. 27 to grace the music platform’s “Power 100” event in commemoration of Billboard Korea’s launch, per Korea JoongAng Daily. Also invited to the event is Brazilian singer Luisa Sonza.
