Carla Abellana has been admitted to a Quezon City hospital due to an undisclosed condition.
Lamenting how she has been suffering from “so much pain” and “discomfort,” the actress showed snaps of her dextrose, her blood pressure, her high body temperature, and of herself lying in a hospital bed, through her Instagram page on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
“Lord, please, heal me. I’ve been in so much pain and discomfort,” she said in the caption, without expounding on her condition.
In a more recent Instagram post, Abellana gave an update, expressing gratitude for being able to get straight three hours of sleep.
“THANK YOU, Lord,” she stated.
Fellow celebrities Bea Alonzo, Rita Daniela, Maggie Wilson, Jessa Zaragoza and Iza Calzado were among those who expressed concern for Abellana, extending their prayers and well-wishes for the actress via the comment section.

Abellana has been active on social media despite her condition. Just earlier, the actress nodded in agreement with veteran broadcaster Karen Davila, who called for senators to stop victim blaming amid the sexual abuse hearings that involve alleged victims Sandro Muhlach and Gerald Santos.
Meanwhile, Abellana made headlines last June after she revealed that the divorce decree obtained by her former husband Tom Rodriguez, an American citizen, is now recognized by the Philippine court.
