Angel Sangalang, Miss Tres original member, dies
Angel Sangalang, best known for being the original member “Miss Uno” of the transgender singing trio Miss Tres, has died, the group confirmed.
The news of her passing was first shared to the public by her fellow Miss Tres member Mariko Ledesma, through her Facebook page on Sunday, Aug. 18.
“Rest ka na, Angel,” Ledesma said, adding folded hands emoji.
The group also paid tribute to Sangalang through its Facebook page on Monday, Aug. 19.

Sangalang, born Conrado Sangalang, rose to fame as one third of Miss Tres who joined the reality talent competition “Pilipinas Got Talent” in 2013. The group caught the public’s attention with their performances of “Sexbomb,” “Sway” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” among others.
Miss Tres also performed on “Asia’s Got Talent” in 2015.
In 2016, Mia Narciso, the other group member, died from lung cancer. Two years later, Ledesma introduced two new group members who performed with her on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
