Richard Gomez says he has no illegitimate child after ‘inventory’
Lucy Torres reacted to the possibility of her husband Richard Gomez having an illegitimate child after the actor joked that he had an “inventory” about any child he might have left behind, given that he has had a “playboy” image in the past.
In a recent interview with Ogie Diaz, the married couple was teased about the possibility of Gomez having a child from any of his previous relationships, given that they only had one daughter, Julianna, despite wanting more.
“Nag-imbentaryo rin ako. Sabi ko, ‘Baka may naiwan ako’ Syempre ‘di mo naman maiwasan nagustuhan rin naman ‘yung katawan ko, baka napagbigyan ba. ‘Teka tignan ko baka may naanakan ako,'” joked the actor.
(I also took inventory. I said, ‘Maybe I left something behind.’ Of course, you can’t help it; they must have liked me for my body, and maybe I granted someone. ‘Let me see if I have fathered anyone’)
Torres butted in and remarked, “Huwag ka ngang ganiyan baka may lumabas.” (Stop fooling around, what if someone will come forward.)

When asked how he handles temptations, the actor-politician said, “Ako na lang ‘yung lumalayo.” (I’m the one who removes myself from the situation.)
Being married for 26 years, Torres said she and Gomez met at the right time, pointing out that had she met him at the time when he was still a playboy, their relationship might not have endured.
“Even if I tried to look back, minsan tinatanong ko siya (sometimes I ask him), ‘Honey, can you imagine yourself being married to anyone else? Ako, I can say I cannot. Lagi ko rin sinasabi (I always say), not to diminish in any way all he has loved before me, but you have to meet the right love at the right time. Kasi kung nameet ko siguro siya nung kasagsagan ng kabataan niya baka hindi rin kami nagkatuluyan (If I meet him during his younger days, we may not end up together),” she shared.
