As Gabs Gibbs announced her upcoming marriage to disc jockey Marga Bermudez, no one was happier than her parents, veteran celebrities Janno Gibbs and Bing Loyzaga.
Janno and Bing, who were present at their daughter’s engagement, took to their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday, August 18, while sharing glimpses of the intimate ceremony based on their points of view.
Janno was one proud father, as he posed with Gabs as she flaunted her engagement ring. Another snap showed the entire family — with his wife and their daughter Alyssa — with Bermudez, and yet another photo of the happy couple.
“My Bunso @gabsgibbs just got engaged to @margaonthemic. And [we’re] more than thrilled,” he captioned his post, along with the hashtag “#loveislove.”
Gabs expressed her love for him in the comments.

Meanwhile, Loyzaga congratulated her youngest daughter in a separate post, while referring to her fiancée as her “new darling.”
“Congratulations to my darling @gabsgibbs and my new darling @margaonthemic. Love you both,” she said.
Bermudez responded to Bing’s post in the comments section.

The happy news also earned congratulatory messages from Mylene Dizon and Leila Alcasid.

Gabs announced her engagement with Bermudez last August 16. They have been in a relationship since 2022.
Gabs is the youngest daughter of Janno and Bing, who have been married since 1990. Gabs’ sister Alyssa tied the knot with her non-showbiz partner Anton Cruz in November 2022.
