“Eat Bulaga” contestant Angelito Calida disclosed that he has been diagnosed with seizure disorder, which caused his “disoriented” actions during the show’s “Peraphy” segment last Aug. 7.

Calida’s participation in the show earlier went viral on social media after netizens noticed his seemingly unusual behavior while playing the game.

During the segment, Calida was not responding well to the questions of the TV hosts. He even approached “Singer Queen” Anne and tried to hug her, which prompted the hosts to call the medical staff.

While Calida did not expound on his condition and on the incident, he extended his apologies as well as gratitude to the public. It can be noted that Calida has also been speaking about his faith as his weapon against “stress” in his prior posts.

The management of “Eat Bulaga” also earlier released a statement on the matter, saying Calida felt extreme “nervousness” which led him to become “disoriented” during the game.
