The 20th Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival ended on a triumphant note for Marian Rivera, Gabby Padilla, and Enzo Osorio as they bagged the top acting honors for their performances in “Balota,” “Kono Basho,” and “The Hearing,” respectively.

The Cinemalaya awards night, held at the Ayala Malls Manila Bay in Parañaque City on Sunday, August 11, was also an unforgettable moment for the cast and crew of “Tumandok” as it brought home the most awards.

Best Short Film: “Cross My Heart and Hope To Die”

Best Director (full-length feature film): Jaime Pacena II for “Kono Basho”

Best Director (short film): Sam Manacsa for “Cross My Heart and Hope To Die”
