Tom Cruise’s rumored GF Victoria Canal denies dating actor

Tom Cruise‘s rumored girlfriend, Victoria Canal, debunked the rumors that she’s in a relationship with the Hollywood actor, saying they are just “friends” and he’s just her “mentor.”
The Spanish-American singer took to Instagram to share a selfie of her with a hand on her mouth, showing a certain kind of disbelief, along with some screenshots of articles that say she was dating Cruise after they met on an Oxfordshire film set.
“Guys, this is literally bonkers, but apparently the tabloids think I am dating Tom Cruise. I’m deceased [dead emoji]. Let’s just stop this in its tracks. I’m sorry to bum you out, but I am not dating the man, albeit a lovely person and artist. I never thought I would have to clarify that out loud in my life. If you’re going to write me up, @pagesix, use a better picture, damn [tear emoji],” she wrote.

Canal stressed that her relationship with the “Top Gun” actor has been nothing but platonic, describing the good qualities of Cruise.
“In all seriousness, guys, Tom has been nothing but a respectful and encouraging person and mentor, much like Chris Martin, my dad, my music teachers, and other wise people who have learned a lot from living. And again, I am friends with all kinds of people who are very different from me. You learn a lot if you’re open to life bringing you those teachers,” she affirmed.
Canal’s statement comes a few weeks after she and Cruise were spotted traveling together via a helicopter in London on July 12. According to reports, it wasn’t the first time Canal flew in style, courtesy of Cruise.
The first time was when the “Yes Man” singer shared on Instagram that the Oscar-nominated actor gave her and her brother a lift to the “Twisters” premiere in London, where she went to support a friend who also starred in the movie, Anthony Ramos.
As of this writing, Cruise or his management have not released a statement.
