‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’ adaptation starring Anne Curtis starts filming
Anne Curtis seems to be eagerly preparing for her TV comeback, as she started filming for the Philippine adaptation of the hit K-drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” which also stars Joshua Garcia and Carlo Aquino.
Glimpses of Curtis, Garcia, and Aquino recently buckled down for their roles, as shared by ABS-CBN’s Star Creatives on Wednesday, July 31, where the lead actors got into the rhythm of their characters in their respective sets.
Sporting a bright red lipstick and soft curls, Curtis was spotted being prepped by makeup artists and hairstylists. Among the behind-the-scenes moments was a video of Garcia doing sit-ups on a couch, while Aquino appeared to be checking a scene.
“We good? All good! Unpacking stuff now na,” the caption read.

Also seen in the post were Enchong Dee, Xyriel Manabat, Kaori Oinuma, and child star Imogen Cantong, although their roles in the upcoming series are yet to be announced, as of press time.
Article continues after this advertisementThe Filipino adaptation of “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” was confirmed in December 2023, while its lead characters were revealed to the press five months later. Mae Cruz-Alviar was tapped to direct the series.
According to Curtis, she already knew that she wanted to star as the Filipino counterpart of Ko Moon-young (Seo Yea-ji) when she saw the K-drama for the first time in 2021.
Details on the premiere date and possible changes to its storyline are yet to be revealed.
The original series, centering around the topic of mental health, stars Seo, Kim Soo-hyun, and Oh Jung-se.
