Alden Richards is heading to Canada to film “Hello, Love, Again,” the sequel to the hit 2019 film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” which also stars Kathryn Bernardo.

Photos of Richards being interviewed at the airport were uploaded by Sparkle GMA Artist Center and Star Cinema on X (formerly Twitter) on Saturday, July 27.

Aside from Canada, the Kapuso talent agency also announced the actor will be heading to the US for the Sparkle World Tour in California in August.

“Alden Richards is off to Canada to film ‘Hello, Love, Again.’ He’s then hitting the road for the Sparkle World Tour in USA and Canada,” Sparkle GMA’s post said.

Sparkle GMA’s announcement comes after Bernardo’s departure to Canada last July 24.

ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema said as much. “Joy, your Ethan is on his way! Alden Richards leaves today to join Kathryn Bernardo in the filming of ‘Hello, Love, Again’ in Canada,” Star Cinema’s X post read.

Richards, “Hello, Love, Again” director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, and the film’s production team were previously in Hong Kong last June to film some scenes for the sequel.

“Hello, Love, Again,” which was confirmed last May, is set to continue the story of Joy Fabregas (Bernardo) and Ethan Del Rosario (Richards) following the events of the 2019 movie. It will hit theaters on Nov. 13.

Details on the film’s storyline and Bernardo and Richards’ co-stars are yet to be announced.
