Kris Aquino undergoes repeat blood test after ‘discrepancy’ in results

Days after receiving “sad blood results,” Kris Aquino had to take a repeat blood test as there was a “discrepancy” in her previous one.
This was disclosed by the Queen of All Media—who is currently in the United States for her medical treatment for her autoimmune diseases—to her close friend Dindo Balares, as per the latter’s Instagram post on Thursday, July 25.
“‘I’m going to UCLA (hospital) on Wednesday for a repeat blood test. There’s a discrepancy in my results so we’ll repeat. Please pray,'” Kris’ message to Balares last July 22 read.
“Ahead ang ‘Pinas ng 15 hours sa Los Angeles, kaya maaaring sa mga oras na ito [ay] nasa UCLA na si Kris,” he added.
Balares then spoke about Kris’ faith, regarding it as one of the factors that have strengthened their friendship since then.
“Lagi kaming naghihilingan ng prayers tuwing may mga sitwasyon na wala na sa kontrol ng tao,” he said. “Hindi ko ito maisulat nang detalyado. Kinukulang ang kakayahan ko sa pagsusulat tuwing sinusubukan kong ilarawan ang napakagandang faith ni Kris.”

Prior to this, Balares shared that Kris had “sad blood results” which might have prompted the immediate return of her sons Josh and Bimby to the US. The siblings flew back to the US last July 17.
