Krishnah Gravidez wins big at Miss World Philippines 2024 Charity Gala

Baguio City’s Krishnah Gravidez was the big winner at the Charity Gala of the 2024 Miss World Philippines pageant, taking home four special titles and advancing to the shortlist of three fast-track contests.

The former Miss Charm Philippines titleholder shared the Miss 9Young-Basic and Miss Bagin titles with Cavite’s Dia Maté, and was also proclaimed Miss Hairfix and Miss Mestiza at the event, held at the grand ballroom of Okada Manila in Parañaque City on Wednesday evening, July 17.

Gravidez was also among the six in the running for Miss Multimedia, the top 10 for National Costume, and the top 10 for Top Model. The event had the 33 contestants parade in their national costumes, and designer looks using indigenous fabrics.

Jasmine Omay from Tarlac Province was Miss Cathy Doll and Miss SY Glow, while her fellow Binibining Pilipinas alumna Jeanne Isabelle Bilasano from the Bicol Region was Miss Syduction. Maria Andrea Endicio from Quezon Province was Miss Megan Beauty.

The national pageant had earlier released the names of finalists in the other fast-track events. The winners of each of the auxiliary competitions will earn guaranteed slots in the semifinals on coronation day at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City on July 19.

Gwendolyne Fourniol will relinquish her title as Miss World Philippines, while Michelle Arceo will crown her Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas successor. The Miss Philippines Tourism title is also at stake.

Reigning Miss World Krystyna Pyszkova, who attended the Charity Gala, will also be at the 2024 Miss World Philippines coronation night. The Czech beauty was trained by Filipino mentors for the international competition.
