It’s time to rejoice, Filo-Carats (the group’s fanbase), as Seventeen‘s concert film based on their recent “Follow Again” tour will premiere in Philippine cinemas in August.
SM Cinemas announced the news on their social media pages on Wednesday afternoon, July 17, as tickets will begin to go on sale next week.
“Attention Filo-Carats. Relive the exhilaration of SEVENTEEN’s concert with SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN TO CINEMAS beginning August 21 at SM Cinema! Stay tuned, as tickets will be on sale July 23,” they wrote, accompanied by the film’s official poster.
As of this writing, the announcement has received 5,000 reposts and likes on X (formerly Twitter) and 5,000 shares and 1,300 likes on Facebook.
In a video posted on the group’s YouTube channel, Seventeen invited fans all over the world to relive the precious moments from their concert tour.
“Relive your favorite moments and create new memories with SEVENTEEN on the big screen,” member Vernon said.
The film is set to utilize “cinematic cameras from multiple angles,” with the aim of transporting audiences “directly into the heart of the concert, allowing them to experience every thrilling moment.”
According to the website, the film will also include live performances of their new songs, including the title track “Maestro” and unit tracks “Spell,” “LALALI,” and “Cheers to Youth,” from their most recent album, “17 Is Right Here.”
“Follow Again” is the encore leg of Seventeen’s “Follow” tour, which had a two-day show at the Philippine Sports Stadium in Bulacan in January.
Meanwhile, member Woozi recently debunked claims that their group uses artificial intelligence (AI) when producing their music after media outlet BBC alleged that their recent single, “Maestro,” was an example of the group’s attempt to utilize AI in the creative process.
On the other hand, member Wonwoo is currently celebrating his 28th birthday today.
