Star Magic breaks silence on Ivana Alawi’s ‘Batang Quiapo’ exit
Star Magic officially released a statement on actress-vlogger Ivana Alawi‘s departure from “Batang Quiapo,” debunking rumors that she was removed from the series due to her “attitude problem.”
The talent agency took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, July 17, to dispel the rumors surrounding Alawi’s exit from the ABS-CBN series.
(Star Magic would like to give notice that there is no truth to the rumors surrounding Ivana Alawi’s departure from FPJ’s ‘Batang Quiapo’.)

Star Magic also extended their gratitude to Alawi as well as to the rest of the cast of “Batang Quiapo.”
“Nagpapasalamat kami sa dedikasyon, pagmamahal at masayang samahan na ipinamalas ni Ivana sa kanyang mga katrabaho, at sa pagbibigay serbisyo sa manonood,” it said.
(We are grateful for the dedication, love and cheerful camaraderie that Ivana showed to her co-workers and for providing service to the audience.)
(We are also very grateful to Coco and all the members of ‘Batang Quiapo’ cast for giving Ivana the opportunity to be part of the leading teleserye.)
“Salamat sa inyong pang-unawa at suporta (thank you for your understanding and support),” concluded the statement.
Last week, Alawi’s talent manager, Perry Lansigan, first dispelled the “atittude problem” rumors as he stressed that the actress-vlogger’s schedule could no longer accommodate her being part of the series.
