At the height of her marital dispute with John Estrada, Priscilla Meirelles said she is set to meet her lawyer in Brazil without expounding on the purpose of the meeting.

After the pair’s contradicting statements on their marriage, Meirelles, who is currently in Brazil for a vacation, hosted a Facebook live through her page on Wednesday, July 17.

“I just did a quick live [to] greet kayong lahat kasi mamaya [pupunta] kami sa mall, magmi-meet [kami] ng lawyer ko… And I’m gonna meet a friend also,” she said.

During the livestream, the former beauty queen talked about their family business and how she took part in it growing up. Meirelles also opted not to mention Estrada, but assured fans that she is fine.

“Thank you guys for joining us in this live. I just wanna tell everyone that I’m doing okay,” she noted. “I’m spending time with my family. I love my family and they love me very much.”

“I’m just overwhelmed with everybody that’s reaching out. I thank you for your support, your care, love and understanding,” she added.

Meirelles earlier insinuated that Estrada, who was “looking very divorced,” spent his Boracay trip with a certain Lily Hallman. The former beauty queen also said that she “had enough.”

Estrada then released a statement, saying he and Meirelles “mutually agreed” to take a break. He further denied any romantic involvement with Hallman and said that he just met the latter on the island.

Meirelles, in response, issued a statement as well in which she clarified that “there was never any mutual agreement regarding [their] separation.” She stressed there is more to the story but that “it’s not the appropriate time to delve into those details.”

Meirelles and Estrada share a daughter named Anechka, who also flew to Brazil with her mom.
