“Stranger Things” gave an exciting first look at the upcoming fifth and final season of the blockbuster series, as they also announced some additional members that will be joining the series cast line-up.

Netflix has revealed three more cast additions for season five, namely young Kiwi actress Nell Fisher, young star Jake Connelly, and Alex Breaux, known for his roles in “Joe Pickett” and “Waco: The Aftermath.”

The streamer also unveiled some behind-the-scenes footage showing the regular cast in action while also reflecting on their journey in the sci-fi drama through the years.

“So, I started when I was 10. I’m now turning 20 years old. It feels very weird,” expressed Millie Bobby Brown, who plays the lead, Eleven.

Other cast members Sadie Sink, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, Noah Schnapp, and Gaten Matarazzo also shared that they will be giving the fans what they want in the upcoming season, emphasizing that it will be “bigger” than previous seasons.

“It’s just so exciting. I think this is going to be the best season yet,” said Schnapp.

“100%, the wait will be worth it,” added McLaughlin.

“Season four was big. Season five definitely feels bigger,” expressed Jamie Campbell Bower. “This is the season the fans have been waiting for.”

Maya Hawke, who plays Robin Buckley in the series, recently told Podcrushed that the eight episodes in season five will feel like “eight movies,” stressing that the episodes are “very long.”

“Our showrunners, Matt and Ross [Duffer], take a lot of responsibility. They have an amazing team of writers, but they’re very involved. They write a lot, and they are very intense and serious about the quality of the continued writing, and so it takes a long time to write each season and a long time to shoot them,” explained the actress.

“Stranger Things” also stars Winona Ryder, Natalia Dyer, Joe Keery, Charlie Heaton, and David Harbour, among others.

Season five is expected to premiere on Netflix next year.
