Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia’s JoshLia tandem sent their fans into “kilig” mode after they re-created Claudine Barretto and Rico Yan‘s unforgettable scene in “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita.”
Star Magic posted Julia and Garcia’s video using the audio of Claudine and Yan in the 1998 drama romance.
Julia and Garcia were facing each other in the same way Claudine and Yan’s did in the movie as they exchanged their respective lines.
“Wag mo sila pansinin,” said Yan.
“Bakit?” responded Claudine.
“Kasi inggit sila,” affirmed Yan.
“Why?” asked Claudine.
“Kasi akin ka,” answered Yan, as their eyes locked with each other.
Julia and Garcia mimicked the original as if they were physical representations of the former couple in today’s time.

Julia is Claudine’s niece and she and Garcia are also exes like Claudine and the late Yan.
Over the years, fans have been saying that Julia and Garcia bear a resemblance to Claudine and Yan.
As of this writing, Julia and Garcia’s re-creation of the scene has gathered 2.5 million views, 465,500 likes and 4,700 comments.
In the comments section of their video, fans further pointed out how the two are the ultimate RYCB (the love team name of Claudine and Yan) in today’s time.
“They’re sooo rico and claudine-coded [crying emojis],” wrote one fan.
“JoshLia with this audio?!?!? Oh please. Kuhang-kuha niyo kami. What if more pa with RYCB audios?” said another fan.
Netizens are also saying that JoshLia should do a remake of “Dahil Mahal na Mahal Kita” or any of Claudine and Yan’s movies. They are also pointing out how Julia sounds exactly like her aunt.
