“The White Lotus” actress Alexandra Daddario announced that she is pregnant with her first child after suffering a “loss” in the past.

Daddario, 38, took to Instagram to share photos from her maternity photoshoot with Vogue Magazine.

“Excited for my child to go to preschool with Margot Robbie and Hailey Bieber’s kids,” she wrote in the caption. Robbie and Bieber are also expecting their first child with their husbands, Tom Ackerley and Justin Bieber, respectively.

The “Percy Jackson” star initially decided to keep her pregnancy private for six months as she shared that she had suffered an unspeakable loss in the past.

“Well, I had been pregnant. I had [a] loss. It’s long and complicated, so I don’t want to be too specific,” Daddario told Vogue.

“Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t fully understand before. It’s very, very painful,” added the Hollywood actress.

Daddario admitted that her initial reaction to finding out that she was pregnant again involved a lot of “complicated feelings,” but now she is ready to embrace the journey.

“I’m finally embracing it. I can show it off,” she happily expressed.

In 2022, Daddario married 55-year-old film producer Andrew Form, who has two sons from his previous marriage. The two tied the knot in a private ceremony in New Orleans.

At the time, the “Hall Pass” actress shared her happiness on Instagram about being married to the television executive.

“The absolutely most wonderful man, you handle nonsense, loss, life, difficulty, and people with grace and compassion,” she wrote.

Daddario rose to fame after portraying Annabeth Chase in the “Percy Jackson” film series (2010–2013).

In 2021, she joined the cast of “The White Lotus,” season one, for which she received critical acclaim and an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie.
