Biboy Ramirez admitted that he and actress Alessandra de Rossi fell in love with each other even before they starred in the 90s TV series “Click.”
In a guest appearance on Fast Talk, Boy Abunda asked Ramirez if there was anyone from the cast of “Click” with whom he fell in love.
Ramirez was being teased by his former “Click” co-stars, James Blanco and Maybelyn Dela Cruz, that the former always had love problems at the time.
“Syempre mga bata pa kami noon. Mapupusok. Madaling bumigay,” began Ramirez. (Of course, we were kids then. Passionate. Easy to get overwhelmed with things.)
When asked to directly name which co-star he had a romance with, Ramirez was first teased that he been involved with many women, but insisted that there was only de Rossi.
“Alam naman ng lahat, hindi naman ito naging secret, naging kami ni Alessandra de Rossi during that time,” he said. “Kami na before pa magkaroon ng Click.”
(Everyone knows, it wasn’t a secret; Alessandra de Rossi and I had a thing during that time. We were together even before we starred in Click.)
Ramirez revealed that he just got over a recent breakup and is currently single.
“Hindi naman siya choice [to be single]. Kagagaling ko lang sa isang relationship, parang a month or two months ago. So okay naman, gusto ko na, pero hindi lang talaga nagwo-workout,” he said.
(It’s not that it’s a choice. I just got out of a relationship, like a month or two months ago. So it’s okay, I want to, but it’s not really working out yet.)
The 42-year-old actor took a long hiatus in showbiz before briefly returning to GMA’s “Unica Hija” last year. He said that he’s inactive in showbiz but still does theater. In 2023, he appeared in the musical “Kahit Maputi Na ang Buhok Ko.”
