Zeinab Harake and Filipino-American basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr. are about to get married, as the internet personality tearfully said yes to her partner’s marriage proposal.
Harake and Parks announced their engagement in a joint Instagram post on Sunday, July 7, which showed them standing at an undisclosed location where the phrase “Marry me” was spelled out, while what seemed like a nightscape of Metro Manila.
The post of the couple’s engagement, which was witnessed by their families and close friends, showed an emotional Harake hugging Parks who teared up as well.
“Y E S,” the internet personality captioned her post.
Meanwhile, Harake initially thought that she and Parks would attend a birthday party before she was escorted to the place where the basketball player popped the question, as seen on her vlog.
But when the couple arrived at the venue, the internet personality already knew that Parks would propose.
“I’m truly blessed to call you my best friend, my lover, and my biggest supporter. So, I hope that you feel the same way towards me. I want to continue to build a Christ-centered relationship in which I will lead and serve you [to] the best of my abilities,” Parks said in his proposal where he also recited a verse from the bible.
“Your genuine, loving, compassionate heart [is] the crown of your beauty. You and the kids are my home and I can’t imagine life without y’all… With that being said, I brought all of our friends, family, and loved ones here today to bear witness, and ask you one thing — Zeinab Harake, would you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?” he continued.

In a separate post, Parks shared a closer look at Harake’s engagement ring which contains a pear-shaped diamond.
“Ain’t playin’ with your heart ‘cause that’s too much to lose,” he wrote.
The couple was congratulated by fellow internet personalities and celebrities including Iza Calzado, Yassi Pressman, Alex Gonzaga, Sofia Pablo, Verniece Enciso, and Jelai Andres.
Harake announced in September 2022 that she was in a relationship with someone, although she didn’t disclose Parks’ identity at the time. The couple eventually went public with their romance in June 2023.
The internet personality has two children, Lucas who is legally adopted, and Bia, with her ex-boyfriend, rapper Skusta Clee. She also suffered from a miscarriage in 2022.
