HYBE’s KATSEYE to drop first EP ‘SIS (Soft Is Strong)’ in August
KATSEYE, the six-member global girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, will release its first EP “SIS (Soft Is Strong),” which is said to be “one of their core beliefs” in August.
KATSEYE’s first EP was announced in a press statement, shortly after dropping their debut single “Debut” and its accompanying music video on Sunday, June 28, Philippine Time.
The EP will be released on August 16, although details on its track list and overall concept are yet to be announced.
“‘SIS (Soft Is Strong),’ the EP’s title, reflects one of KATSEYE’s core beliefs — Soft Is Strong — and also nods to the sisterhood they’ve forged, despite coming from immensely different cultures,” HYBE and Geffen Records said in the statement.
