Ryan Bang and his non-showbiz girlfriend Paola Huyong are set to tie the knot soon, as the “It’s Showtime” host received a yes after popping the question in an intimate gathering.
The couple made their engagement public by giving a glimpse of Bang’s marriage proposal, through their respective Instagram pages on Saturday, June 29.
An elated Huyong can be seen saying yes to the actor-TV host, who got down on one knee while holding the box containing the diamond engagement ring. Huyong also treated fans to a closer look at her ring, as well as a note given by Bang.
“Thank you for saying ‘yes.’ Can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. From your soon to be husband,” the message in the note read.
Huyong then captioned her post: “God is good.”
Bang, for his part, reposted via his Instagram Stories congratulatory greetings from friends who witnessed his marriage proposal to Huyong.

Prior to this, Bang and Huyong flew to South Korea with her family, and met with the “It’s Showtime” host’s parents.
Bang confirmed being in a relationship in August 2023, although he did not immediately disclose Huyong’s identity at the time. A month later, the TV host revealed that he already introduced his girlfriend to his family in South Korea.
Bang then shared public photos with Huyong during a Hong Kong trip with his fellow “It’s Showtime” hosts in October of the same year.
In a February 2024 interview, Bang then declared that he believes Huyong will be his endgame amid only dating for less than a year at the time.
