Kim Jae-joong released his full-length album “Flower Garden” on Wednesday, June 26, to celebrate 20 years in the industry.

With 14 songs, the album features the title track “Glorious Days” and the pre-release single “I Am U,” which was released on June 11. Meanwhile, the CD-only song “201208” was composed, written, and arranged by Kim himself.

“This is Jae-joong’s first full-length album he has released in South Korea in the last two years. It contains a wide variety of genres, including rock, R&B, and ballad,” Kim’s agency iNKODE Entertainment said in a press statement.

A music video for “Glorious Days,” which is said to “represent each of the years Kim Jae-joong has been active as an artist,” was also released on the same day.

The video showed Kim looking at framed photos of his 20-year career before stepping into a garden filled with colorful flowers. He then finds himself gazing at the sky, with flower petals dropping from the sky.

Kim started his career as a member of TVXQ! in December 2003, and left seven years later. He’s also part of the group JYJ with former TVXQ! bandmates Kim Jun-su and Park Yoo-chun.

Kim released albums in Korean and Japanese throughout his solo career, including “No.X,” “Born Gene,” “Flawless Love” and “Love Covers III,” to name a few. He was previously in the Philippines for the Asia Artist Awards 2023 in December of last year.
