Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo are set to fly to Canada in July for the much-awaited filming of “Hello, Love, Again.”
During the Sparkle world tour media conference on Thursday, June 27, Richards was asked about how much he was looking forward to working with Bernardo after five years.
“Of course [excited],” he said about working with the Kapamilya actress again as they are set to fly to Canada next month.
“Before we fly, there will be a session with Direk Cathy to put us in the mood again. Parang, that’s how we’ve been working together during Hello, Love, Goodbye. Ganon kami prinepare ni Direk Cathy. Mayroong ganon, and we’re both very excited for this film,” added the Kapuso actor.
Earlier this month, Richards and director Cathy Garcia-Sampana initially flew to Hong Kong along with their production team to start the filming of the most anticipated sequel of the year.
Given that Bernardo’s character, Joy, is no longer in Hong Kong, she and Richards’ character, Ethan, will set out to reunite in Canada.
“Hello, Love, Again” is a follow-up to the 2019 blockbuster film “Hello, Love, Goodbye” and is set to be released in theaters on Nov. 13.
Meanwhile, Richards is also set to star in GMA’s period drama “Pulang Araw,” which will premiere on July 26.
“I’m very, very proud of this project. This is one of my best projects so far with GMA. Hindi lang dahil part ako nito, kung hindi ‘yung storya na meron dito. ‘Yung legacy na maikwento natin sa ating mga Kapuso, that’s what really matters to me,” he said.
Richards is also set to headline the US and Canada leg of the GMA Sparkle world tour alongside Julia Anne San Jose, Rayver Cruz, Isko Moreno, Ai-ai delas Alas and Boobay in August.
