Meryl Streep’s daughter, Louisa Jacobson, has come out as queer as she debuts her girlfriend on social media for the first time.
Gummer took to Instagram to celebrate Pride Month by sharing a snap with her girlfriend, producer Anna Blundell.
“Blessed to be entering the Joyful New Era bb [flaming heart and LGBTQ Pride flag emojis],” Jacobson wrote in the caption, on the day her mother celebrated her 75th birthday.
The first of six photos in the post was a selfie of Jacobson and Blundell looking down at the camera in a room with bright red lights.
The second photo is a screenshot of a recent New York Times article titled “We’re Entering a Joyful New Era of Lesbian Fashion.”
In the remaining images, Jacobson flexes a variety of her style, which some would describe as “lesbian chic.”

In the comment section, fellow celebrities “West Side Story” star Ariana DeBose, writer-socialite Derek Blasberg, and “Dickinson” actress Ella Hunt, among others, have expressed their support for Jacobson.
“Happy pride,” wrote Blasberg. “LIVE queen!” echoed DeBose.
Fans have also poured in in the comment section to celebrate the coming out of the 33-year-old actress.
“COMING OUT AT YOUR MOM’S BIRTHDAY IS SO ICONIC,” wrote one netizen.
“The lesbians keep winning!!!” said another fan.

Jacobson is the youngest child of Streep and her estranged husband, sculptor Don Gummer. The former couple also shares one son, Henry, and two more daughters, Mamie and Grace.
In October 2023, Page Six reported that Streep and Gummer had been secretly separated for more than six years after 45 years of marriage.
Although no one from the couple has address the split directly, Streep’s representative told the media at the time that the veteran actress and Gummer “will always care for each other” but “have chosen lives apart.”
Meanwhile, Jacobson currently stars as Marian Brook in HBO’s period drama “The Gilded Age,” alongside Christine Baranski, Cynthia Nixon, Carrie Coon, and Morgan Spector.
