Ali Khatibi’s non-showbiz girlfriend Dona Balmadrid announced the birth of their son Axel Joshua, giving the public a glimpse of the child’s face.
Balmadrid was all smiles while carrying Axel and posing for a photo, as seen on her Instagram Stories on Monday, June 24.
“Mama’s boy,” read the sticker in the photo.
Balmadrid also included the Instagram handle of the account dedicated to Axel. The page, which is set in private, has the Instagram handles of Balmadrid and Khatibi on its bio.
“Our little man has stolen our hearts. [Dona Balmadrid] my mommy; [Ali Khatibi] my daddy,” it says.

Rumors of Balmadrid’s pregnancy circulated as early as March, although she and Khatibi did not immediately confirm or deny it.
Meanwhile, Khatibi also shares a daughter named Amara with his former wife, actress Cristine Reyes.
Reyes and Khatibi welcomed Amara in 2015, then wed a year later. The actress confirmed their separation in 2019, then revealed in a February 2024 interview that they had been annulled for over a year.
The former couple nonetheless appear to have a good co-parenting relationship. They were mostly seen reuniting for their daughter’s school events.
Just last month, Reyes and Khatibi attended Amara’s moving up ceremony and celebrated it over a meal.
