Marco Gumabao, Cristine Reyes, Dominic Roque undergo water baptism

Marco Gumabao and Cristine Reyes took a new step in their relationship by undergoing water baptism at a Quezon City-based church, where they were joined by their friend Dominic Roque.
Gumabao underwent water baptism with Reyes and Roque at Focus Church, as seen on his Instagram page on Sunday, June 23. The post showed the actors being guided by religious leaders throughout their baptism.
“I publicly declared my faith in Jesus through the sacrament of baptism. A sacred moment of rebirth and renewal in Christ, immersed in faith and surrounded by love,” he said.

Marking his second baptism, Gumabao shared he has been a Christian for “almost 20 years,” while looking back at times in his life when he was on “fire with [his] faith” in God.
“Now that I am once again baptized in Christ, the old ways are gone, and the new has come. I publicly declare my faith in Him and will always put God in the center in ALL aspects of my life,” he said.
The actor expressed his love for Reyes, saying the baptism is a “new step in [their] Christian life,” while saying he’s excited for Roque’s next stage of his life.
“Congrats to us @cristinereyes, this [is] a new step in our Christian life together and I wouldn’t want to have this with anyone else. I love you,” he said.
He also expressed his appreciation for Roque. “To @dominicroque, isa sa mga tunay kong kapatid, proud na proud ako sayo! Nandito ako palagi sa tabi mo, and I know God will bless your heart, and I am excited for what’s to come.”
Reyes and Roque expressed their love for Gumabao in the comments.

Earlier, Catriona Gray also underwent water baptism in the same church on the same weekend.
Gumabao and Reyes went public with their relationship in April 2023, although it remains unknown how their romance started.
Meanwhile, Roque was previously engaged to Bea Alonzo, but they called their romance quits earlier this year.
