Bong Revilla and Lani Mercado will welcome another grandchild soon, as their daughter Gianna announced her pregnancy with her first child.
Gianna made the announcement by showing photos of her and her husband Jed Patricio caressing her baby bump, through her Instagram page on Thursday, June 20.
Gianna also revealed in the post, which also includes a sonogram of their child, that she suffered a miscarriage in 2023.
“It has been our hearts’ desire to start our own little family. Although with a miscarriage last year and dealt with hormonal imbalances, we kept our faith,” she underscored.
“We let go of our plans, surrendered every pain, doubt, and fear, knowing we can trust only in His plans because they are far greater than ours,” she continued.
She then declared, “This year, God answered our prayer, [and] we know He’s not done yet.”
“Baby P is on the way,” she concluded.
Mercado, along with other celebrities, then took to the comments section to express their excitement for the expecting parents.

Just earlier this year, Bong and Mercado welcomed their grandchild Lauren, the daughter of their son, Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla, and his wife, beauty queen Angelica Alita.
