Mang Inasal, the Philippines’ Grill expert beloved for its delectable chicken inasal and other dessert offerings, made its way to the Inquirer offices last May 27, 2024, delighting all Inquirer employees present in the building with their cool treats to beat the heat.

At the lobby of the Media Resource Plaza building in Pasong Tirad, Makati, Mang Inasal set up their vibrant booth which showcased two of their main dessert offerings for this period: the Mang Inasal Extra Creamy Halo-Halo, and the Mang Inasal Crema de Leche Halo-Halo.

It was the perfect snack time experience for members of the Inquirer Group of Companies. As 2 P.M. clocked in, the Mang Inasal’s Level Up Sarap Halo-Halo Caravan started giving out their sweet samples to excited employees. The Mang Inasal team spared no effort in ensuring that employees each get to try both the Extra Creamy and Crema de Leche variants of their halo-halo.

“Mang Inasal values the incredible work of our local media partners like the Philippine Daily Inquirer and their role in ensuring the public remains informed, connected, and entertained,” said Mang Inasal Digital and DPR Director RJ Jabeguero-Rodillo. “And as Mang Inasal aims to further strengthen our relationship with our customers nationwide,  we are also happy to build and nurture our connection with one of the country’s most trusted media sources,” she enthusiastically added.

The sampling event quickly turned into a hub of laughter and conversation, as colleagues bonded over their shared love for Mang Inasal’s delectable creamy creations. The Inquirer building was abuzz with chatter as employees returned to their desks, their moods uplifted by the sweet treats from Mang Inasal.

For Mang Inasal, the event was not just about showcasing their products, but also about spreading and celebrating joy amidst the intense seasonal heat. This celebration comes on the heels of their back-to-back sweep of accolades from major industry awards: Mang Inasal recently bagged a Silver and three Bronze in the 11th Annual Asia-Pacific Stevie® Awards for a number of their marketing projects. “Receiving these recognitions not only brings us great joy but also fuels our commitment to create more impactful campaigns for our customers,” said Mang Inasal President Mike V. Castro. “Mang Inasal will continue to give our guests and online customers the Ihaw-Sarap (deliciously grilled) food and Unli-Saya (unlimited fun) experience they deserve.”
