BINI hoped to perform in a better environment while reiterating that health and safety are their priorities, a week after the P-pop girl group cut their Independence Day performance in Manila short.
On the sidelines of a fast food launch in Quezon City last June 17, BINI’s youngest member Sheena said the girl group hopes to provide a better and safer experience for their viewers, a week after suddenly ending their Independence Day show at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
“Of course, we always prioritize safety and health ng mga manonood (of the audience). As much as we wanted to perform, we decided to just cut it for everyone’s safety,” she said. “The next time, we hope maging better ang mangyari sa performances [namin] (We hope things will be better in our next performances). We hope we can perform better in our next [shows],” she said.

The “Pantropiko” hitmakers made headlines last June 12, after they suddenly ended their Independence Day show at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila. This happened when the members noticed the unruly crowd, with some even climbing up the barriers to get a glimpse of the group.
A previous report from INQUIRER.net said an audience member fainted from the crowding.
It can be noted that BINI’s eldest member Aiah was absent from this particular appearance since she was feeling under the weather at the time.
June is a packed month for BINI as they’re set to grace the Quezon City Pride celebration on June 22, then the BINI Run 2024 event the following day.
The P-pop girl group is set to hold the three-day “BINIverse” concert from June 28 to 30 at the New Frontier Theater. Stops at Baguio, Cebu, General Santos City, and several cities in Canada were also announced.
