SB19’s main vocalist, Stell, and Asia’s Limitless Star, Julie Anne San Jose, are set to team up for a two-night concert in July.
The collaboration was announced on the separate Instagram pages of the two artists, alongside their candid black-and-white photoshoot.
“Tara, sound trip tayo. Sagot namin ang playlist mo. We proudly present JulieXStell: Ang Ating Tinig,” they wrote in the caption.
San Jose posted another picture with Stell posing back-to-back. The two first teased their collaboration one week ago when the former visited 1Z Entertainment, a management company built and managed by the members of SB19.
In an interview with 24 Oras, the singers shared the things that fans can expect from their concert.
“That’s why ang ating tinig kasi ipapakita nami ni Stell ‘yung iba’t ibang klaseng range na makikita n’yo dito sa concert. So first ‘yung range ng mga boses namin, ‘yung range namin together, and ‘yung range ng OPM,” said San Jose.
“Gusto namin ‘yung mapapakita talaga namin is something na alam namin na strength talaga namin but wala naman ding masama mag-try kami ng something new,” Stell added.
In 2023, both artists served as judges on “The Voice Generations” on GMA-7, and Stell’s group Vocalmyx was declared the winner. Stell and San Jose also had an impromptu duet of “Habang May Buhay” by Wency Cornejo in the show.
The two are expected to continue their judge duties in the upcoming “The Voice Kids Philippines.”
Dubbed SB19’s Heavenly Voice, Stell is set to release his debut solo single, “Room,” on June 14. He was also one of the headliners in Ryan Cayabyab’s Gen C concert last month.
Meanwhile, San Jose, along with her boyfriend Rayver Cruz, previously performed at Gary V’s Pure Energy concert.
Stell and San Jose’s two-night concert will happen at the New Frontier Theater on July 27 and 28 and will be directed by Paolo Valenciano.
