Prior to singing one of the songs he prepared for the Bagong Pilipinas concert in Davao, Daniel Padilla addressed those with partners in the audience, saying in jest, “Sana all.”

Padilla, who was among the performers at the “Pagkakaisa” concert last June 7, was all smiles as he continued his performance amid the pouring rain, as seen in a clip shared by fan account @djpmagnificentminds on TikTok last Saturday, June 8.

Before starting his rendition of Orange and Lemons’ “Yakap sa Dilim,” the actor interacted with the crowd and asked, “Sino ‘yung mga may kasamang nobya ngayong gabi?”

“Sana all,” he added amid the loud cheers.

He continued, “Gusto kong yakapin niyo ang mga nobya niyo ngayong gabi habang umuulan. Napaka-romantic.”

In another TikTok video shared by one @jaix_16, Padilla was also seen singing “Yugyugan Na.” In between the performance, he called out an audience member whom he apparently caught throwing bottles. It was not immediately known, however, if it was thrown toward him on the stage.

“‘Yung namamato ng bote d’yan, tigilan mo ‘yan,” he said, pointing at someone in the crowd. “Nakikita kita.”

Meanwhile, Padilla’s mom, actress-TV host Karla Estrada, thanked the attendees of the event who had fun with the actor despite the weather.

“Daghang salamat sa lahat ng mga nakisaya, nakikanta at nagpaulan! Sa mga supporters ni Daniel na galing pang Manila, kayo ang tunay na idol! At sa mga taga Davao. DAVnor, Tagum at kung taga-saan ka mang bayan nanggaling kagabi, idol ka!” she wrote on her Instagram page.

“Salamat sa sakripisyo niyo na mag-intay at maligo sa ulan. Mabuhay kayo mga kaibigan!” she added. “Hangang sa muli nating pagkikita. Pag-ibig para sa inyong lahat.”

The “Pagkakaisa” concert was organized by Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, a flagship program of the Marcos administration that “aims to provide major government services to less fortunate Filipinos in various communities across the country and features the government’s flagship programs.”
